Reason does not always have to apply. At least, in the world of Another it does not. Another is the sentient world separate from our reality. Originally inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Another One is a graphic novel in which the world is altered to accommodate the protagonist’s wishes. This is demonstrated by shifting color schemes throughout the novel depending on location and emotion.
In general terms, Another One is a fictional graphic novel with themes of fantasy, adventure, and a sense of horror. The project is an experiment in color theory, narrative, and symbolism and how all these factors, when combined, create an engaging work.

My piece has currently reached 78 pages and is estimated to reach around 400 pages upon completion. As the work is entirely digital, I am able to work in almost any environment. Thus, I can be found drawing in class, in the studio, in my room, or with friends. The plot follows a curious youth named Wish who is pulled into a world separate from Earth that is simply referred to as Another, hence the title. As Wish journeys to solve the mysteries of and ultimately escape the sentient world, lessons of compassion and companionship are introduced as the protagonist learns how to care and be cared for. This story has been dear to my heart through adolescence and continues to provide artistic inspiration and motivation.
